Kareena Kapoor is not the sole eye candy in much-awaited action thriller, 'Agent Vinod.' While she may be the star of the show, the 'other woman' has generated a fair bit of curiosity despite her tiny role. She's appears to be a talented dancer and of course, drop dead gorgeous.
The mystery woman in question is none other than Maryam Zakaria, the Iranian-Swedish model/actress. She has been floating around on the frills of mainstream entertainment for a while now, and has finally made her transition into Bollywood with this film.
In it, she is sensuous and unforgettable as Farah, the Afghani dancer--who does a mujra alongside Kareena Kapoor. You might think the veteran actress' star quotient might outshine any newbie nearby, but this tough hottie is holding her own and how.
In fact, we'd go so far as to say that she actually steals some of the spotlight from Kareena thanks to her free-flowing and natural dance moves. Of course, she's no stranger to the 'jhatkas' and 'matkas' having even established a dance studio in Sweden where she used to teach these! Still, this is an impressive feat on her part.
It was probably all of this that impressed Sriram Raghavan so much that he felt compelled to hire her despite her poor grasp of Hindi. And even before the release of this film, the budding actress has already been offered some respectable new projects, including an item number in Akshay Kumar-starrer, 'Rowdy Rathore' as well as a role opposite Rana Dagubatti in 'Naa Ishtam' (Telugu).
All in all, we're sure we'll be seeing a lot more of this hottie. So, for her seamless transition to Bollywood, great dancing skills, drool-worthy good looks and her ability to create a buzz around her, we anoint Maryam Zakaria our "babe of the week."
