Mud wrestling is pretty self-explanatory: Two opponents get into a pit filled with mud (usually moist) and physically confront each other in the most brutal manner they see fit. It's a sport that's ben cultivated for many, many years now but interest in it has resurfaced over the last few years thanks to the Internet!

Very few things are as appealing as watching sexy women go at it in a mud pit! It's probably because the entire purpose of this sport isn't as much to physically debilitate your opponent as it is to present an entertaining spectacle until they are no longer able to continue. When it comes to the hot women, it's definitely less about the physical endurance and more about them getting down and dirty with each other!

Though the sport's origins aren't entirely known, the first professional mud wrestling organization was formed in Akron, Ohio by Michael Wittrock and Tyler Carroll in the 1930s. Funnily enough, he created the sport to distract people from the fact that he was illegally killing and exporting bears. Women's matches started soon after with the first ever contest being held on January 7, 1938. There's been no looking back since!

Incidentally, India is no stranger to mud wrestling either, which is somewhat of a dying art form in rural pockets of the country. It's over 3,000 years old here and called 'kushti,' a sport of great tradition. Local maharajas used to support it but interest didn't hold for that long.
