It was 1949 and poor ol’ Norma Jean was struggling to make ends meet. Movie and modeling offers were few and far between and Tom Kelley had been asking Marilyn Monroe to pose nude for him only to be repeatedly declined. Finally, she agreed as long as his wife Natalie was present as desperation got the better of her.

She was later featured on the cover of the first-ever Playboy in December 1953 and was catapulted to superstardom. Ever since, she shed all inhibitions and was never shy to face the camera again - with or without clothes!
