Esha Deol

Despite a similar religious sentiment to Bedi's tattoo, Deol did not invite quite as much outrage. This one loved the idea of permanent scarring so much that she got inked twice but since the first was a fairly generic 'Om' symbol behind her left shoulder, we're more keen to lavish some attention on the other.

Deol's actually got the Gayatri mantra tattooed behind her right shoulder in a beautiful calligraphy and with a message as beautiful as that we're big fans of the ink work. The literal translation of the words is, 'We meditate on the glory of that being who has produced this universe;may he enlighten our minds,' as stated by Swami Vivekananda.
