Yemen

A bit like a civilized Mali, in Yemen, there are no laws against spousal rape. And since women are often married as young as eight she is forced to be his object of sexual release, not to mention give up all dreams of education, careers or any autonomy whatsoever.

There are plenty of women's groups however, made up of the women who were lucky enough to get educated we suppose, who are constantly up in arms against the government and society and it's somewhat heartening to know that at least people are trying to fight for these poor women.
