In Rock of Ages, we see Tom Cruise in a different avatar, away from missiles or jumping off buildings, he plays Stacee Jaxx - rockstar extraordinaire. In one of the interviews, Tom does admit that rock performances are “an athletic feat” and this is something to appreciate, well, besides the legendary music. The movie honours some of Rock n’ Roll’s famous and worshipped bands of the 80s. If you look at them today, they still have the stamina and fitness to rock your world. Case in point - all those comeback tours that leave nothing lacking in struts, jumps and swagger.
