Peter O'Toole (1932-)

This Irish stage and screen actor is considered to be one of the best in his craft. He has been nominated for an Academy Award for acting on eight different occasions, but till date hasn't won one even once! However, this dry streak clearly doesn't do any justice to his extensive and illustrious body of work, which includes great films like 'Lawrence Of Arabia,' 'The Stunt Man,' 'My Favorite Year' and several others. 

Little wonder then as to why this Hollywood legend won an honorary Academy Award in 2003!
