Charlton Heston (1923-2008)
This Hollywood icon made the world sit up and take notice with his portrayal of Judah Ben-Hur in the 1959 classic, Ben-Hur. The movie is one of the most successful films ever made in Hollywood, and it also earned Heston his only Academy Award for Best Actor. However, he also featured in many other great movies like, 'The Ten Commandments,' 'Planet Of The Apes' and 'Julius Caesar.'
