Here's a look at 5 music genres we don't want to pass on to our future generations!

5 Music Genres That Shouldn't Exist

Things That Meryl Streep or John Travolta Might Sing in a Musical

No disrespect to either of the two above-mentioned actors, but let's face it, show tunes s#$k. Musicals are usually the absolute pits (don't worry, Moulin Rouge will always be an exception!) and when it requires Travolta to dress up like an obese woman or a legend like Meryl Streep to attempt full splits in the air while singing ABBA tunes, they simply have to stop!

The combination of oversinging, excessive vibrato and ridiculously cheesy tunes just don't do it for us and they're not going to do it for GenNext either--not while electronic music is poised to be the future anyway. Here's Travolta livin' it up on Hairspray.
