The Glass Harmonica

Originally made up of a series of glass bowls and goblets, which gradually increase in size, this whimsical instrument seems to fit in more appropriately with fairy tales. However, one good listen to its gentle, fluid and harmonious tones and we’re fairly certain you’ll become a fan in no time!

Today, however, this beautiful instrument—which was invented by Benjamin Franklin—has evolved into the mechanical version of itself.
