Shoebite 

This one's been embroiled in the not-so-well-oiled cogs of the Indian judiciary system. A supposed Big B starrer, he was to play a 60-year old man who sets out on a journey of self-discovery and the film was being directed by Shoojit Sircar. Originally the film was announced as Johnny Walker and supposed to be a Percept Film Production but it was never made.

However when Sircar took the film to UTV Motions and renamed it Shoebite, Percept was quick to file a lawsuit against them preventing it from being made. The legal battle was drawn out for far too long and only recently came to an end in 2012. Director Sircar even made the film Vicky Donor in between and got it released! Either way, we'd have loved to see Big B in a role as pivotal and interesting as this one but we'll have to go with a non-committal 'you win some, you lose some' for now.
