Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky

A scandal that was brought into light at the turn of the 20th century was that of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. Clinton, the then president of USA, was embroiled in a sex scandal with a 22-year-old fresh internee at the White House. This would've gone completely unnoticed, if not for Monica who ended up doing some girlfriend talk with her co-worker who eventually tapped their phones and got physical evidence regarding the same.

Clinton was finally led to his own impeachment yet luckily escaped as the votes were in his favour and went on to serve as the President till 2001.
