Now this is really off the typical tourist radar and it mint take a little grit and determination to actually get here but in the end, if you're in search of authentic travel experiences, this is as good as it gets. It's off the main island and virtually anything can happen here.

We've heard tales of participating in voodoo ceremonies with dancing haystacks, getting stranded on coral islands, getting chased by hippos while in a motor-less canoe, drinking kava with village chiefs and even going out with hotel owners to catch your own seafood for dinner! Now if that doesn't capture the true spirit of travel, we don't know what does.
