B. B. King

B. B. King's arguably the best blues guitarist of all time! His then-revolutionary guitaring technique involved solos with free-flowing string-bending. This, in turn, influenced several guitarists of the modern era, who tend to combine the traditional blues sound with rock and roll beats. 

Although he recently gave up touring, B. B. King will always be remembered for his contributions to guitaring--and music, in general!
