Blue Skin Disorder

Here's a strange one. A whole bunch of people--who lead normal lives, devoid of any physical symptoms other than entirely natural ones--have only one oddity in their appearance. They have blue skin! In the 1960s, there was a large family that was simply called 'the blue people' who lived around the hills in Kentucky. 

Apparently, it's nothing more than a genetic trait passed on from generation to generation. So technically, it's not really a disease but it was a weird enough trait for it to make an appearance on our list! People with this condition have skin that ranges from blue, plum, indigo and sometimes, almost purple.
