Let's put it this way, if you had this odd syndrome, there would never be any need for you to consume LSD or other such hallucinogenic drugs. Mostly because the effects of this syndrome are similar to tripping on acid--all your life! AIWS (also known as micropsia) is essentially a neurological condition, which affects human visual perception.

As such, humans who are affected by it end up perceiving things as substantially smaller than they actually are. Even their sense of distance and time gets warped and objects appear distorted. This is why it has also been referred to as Lilliput sight or Lilliputian hallucinations. It's also not an eye problem but a neurological wiring that causes the brain's interpretation of the information to be warped.
