Gold Vending Machine

While you're almost certainly never going to see this in India (we Indians like to buy our gold from actual human beings--and haggle as much as possible!), these bullion vending machines have become fairly common across the Middle East and Japan. 

The one you see above was recently installed in London's Westfield shopping center. It dispenses gold in quantities ranging from 1 gram to a quarter kilo of the shiny stuff. If you're looking to stock up on the latter, you'd better bring along all your credit cards, because that will set you back over Rs. 5 lakhs!
