Jerry Sandusky, American Football (College)

Recently, former Penn State American football coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested, charged--and later, found guilty of several counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Sandusky--who adopted eight children, and ran a charity for at-risk kids--sexually abused many young boys. All of these children were introduced to Sandusky through his charity--making this the sickest sports scandal ever!

Former Penn State coach, the late Joe Paterno, under whose regime this scandal played out, resigned in the wake of this scandal. He passed on just months after this horrible controversy came to light. Currently, there's is a raging debate over whether Penn State should honor their late coach by installing his statue on campus. We think, being the man in charge, who turned a blind eye to this child abuse, Paterno was an enabler, at least!
