Riccardo Paletti
Paletti was driving for Osella when he had his fatal crash on June 13, 1982. A newly-recruited driver, Paletti was into his second ever Formula 1 race at the Canadian Grand Prix when his stationary car was hit by another one at 100mph. This caused the car to catch fire. Paletti was stuck inside for 25 minutes, yet he suffered no burns but the fumes proved to be fatal.
