21 Jump Street

Based on the 1987 TV series of the same name that formed a base for Johnny Depp’s rise to superstardom, 21 Jump Street is an action comedy film starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as two unlikely cops out to save their community. The duo, who are classmates, with Hill being a nerd and Tatum being his sexy self, are poles apart in their personalities but are deputed together to find and stop a new drug and deliver the supplier to their superiors.

While we have seen many such movies over time where two unlikely personalities have teamed up together to fight crime, 21 Jump Street managed to make itself fun and interesting. So much so that a sequel is already in the works.
