Letscom is a new player in the portable speaker market, but is already making waves with it's highly affordable and downright awesome capsules! Here's how the HL4003 fared in our minds:

DESIGN

The HL4003 is one of the most well-crafted and ergonomically sturdy designs that a portable speaker could ever have. The two capsules are co-joined from the base with a magnet and can be detached and placed strategically to get optimum output. The amount of wires running this makes it a bit cumbersome to use though, with two mini-USB ends running into the speakers, a third end of a 3.5mm jack for the device, and the fourth USB end to charge the speakers turns it into a cluster of annoyance.

A lack of volume controller is felt every once in a while when you have to reach out to the master device to toggle the volume. But they are handy and sturdy, and stay upright without toppling. Weighing 144 gms, this one's a strong lightweight contender that can give anyone a run for their money!

PERFORMANCE

The HL4003 is a true winner when it boils down to battery life and sound quality. Excelling in both, these set of capsules can churn out tunes for more than 10 hours straight at full volume without losing juice or tiring out! So that's a definite get for this device. 

As for the sound output, it's crisp and clear, and surprisingly loud for it's size! What's more amazing is that the speakers stay composed even at loud volumes, without getting any shrillness or crackling while playing. The bass output is OK, and the speakers fare well at varied frequencies. The speakers churn out various genre of music with ease, and also work efficiently as a set of movie speakers, with dialogue and the background score being clearly audible through and through.

VERDICT

This one wins in all counts, fulfilling each and every need of a user. The magnet base design works wonders and the sound quality and output will leave a user content with it's performance. A must-have for anyone who's looking for a set of portable capsules with the perfect ergonomics, long battery life, pleasing sound output and affordability!
