Perfectly understandable given the fact that she was actually modeling for Versace, Armani, Ralph Lauren, etc, before she landed her very own cooking show titled Padma's Passport, on the Food Network.

She's authored several successful cook books, is a co-host on Top Chef (one of the world's most popular cooking shows) and has even been nominated for an Emmy for her performance. She's mad sexy and can cook like nobody's business. We really wonder why Salman Rushdie let this one go!
