They say behind every great man, there's a woman, so that must be true of evil men as well. As the notorious partner of the merciless Fred West, his wife, Rose, was possibly even more gruesome and soulless than he was. Their modus operandi? Luring young, trusting women right off the street with the promise of food, lodging and heartfelt compassion only to lock them away in their house of nightmares.

A mother of eight, Rose was a depraved prostitute with sadism flowing through her veins since she enjoyed nothing more than inflicting pain on others. She and her man committed 10 horrendous murders that we know of--including their own child and stepdaughter. For their victims, death must've been a relief given the terrible, endless torture that usually preceded it. Little wonder why their home on 25 Cromwell Street was aptly titled the 'House of Horrors!' The soulless woman was convicted in 1995 and is currently still an inmate at a jail in Durham.
