Anya Ayoung-Chee, Miss Trinida & Tobago 2008, also came under an unflattering spotlight like so many of her counterparts on the list. Her crime? She was the central focus of a controversy that showed her having a threesome with former boyfriend and Miss Japan 2008 (Hiroko Mima). Her boyfriend claimed that the footage was stolen off his laptop.

Miss Universe pageant officials tried extremely hard to distance themselves from the madness that ensued insisting that the tape had been filmed too far after the pageant had already been conducted for them to take any responsibility. Needless to say, no one believed them.
