On the notorious O.J. Simpson's 65th birthday, we take a look at some prominent athletes who've had trouble with the law.
Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter
A noted professional middleweight boxer, we almost feel guilty to include this man on a list like this. Though he was tried and arrested twice for a triple homicide at the Lafayette Bar and Grill in New Jersey back in 1967--and again in 1976--it was proved that he was wrongly accused and many attribute it to rampant racism prevalent at the time; though most wouldn't like to admit it.
His time spent in jail was spent pondering over the unfair justice system. He penned a book telling the true story and when he was finally rightfully released after all those years, he even authored the script of his life that was made into the blockbuster movie, which starred Denzel Washington as him.
