Leslie Hylton

This name may not sound familiar, but it's doubtful you'll forget it after hearing this tale. A West Indian cricketer, renowned for his fast bowling back in the day, he played several test matches for his country. However, he ended up becoming infamous for the crimes he committed and faced a tremendously harsh punishment.

In 1955, Hylton was actually hanged for murdering his wife and as such, till date, remains the only international cricketer to have ever been executed!
