Anthony Lorraine Wilmot

A first class cricketer, from Cape Province who played for South Africa, he even captained the Eastern Province team once and had a ton of experience. Though he faced a fair bit of controversy in the game itself, nothing came close to him being convicted of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000!

After a long appeals process, he was sentenced to 12 years behind bars. However, he committed suicide by shooting himself in 2004. Though most believed that it was due to his pending imprisonment, rumor has it that he was suffering from an incurable disease.
