Saina Nehwal

Saina Nehwal, born on March 17, 1990, in Dhindar, Haryana, is India's top badminton player. She is currently ranked No.5 in the world by the Badminton World Federation.
The highlight of her career was winning the gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in India.

She has also received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, India's highest sporting honor, in 2010. She was given the Padma Shri as well. She shined at the London Olympics as well, winning the bronze in the women's singles event!
